Why Join the PTA?

 

When you join the PTA, you are helping to support events and activities for students, parents and staff.  Here are the four ways the PTA will enhance your child's Middle School experience and the overall FOMS Community!

 

1. The PTA sponsors cultural, social and educational events for students and families.

2. The PTA supports FOMS staff through staff appreciation events.

3. The PTA recognizes student achievement and the demonstration of positive behaviors.

4. The PTA supports the parent community.

 

FOMS PTA program sponsored activities and events are funded in three ways:

 

1. Membership Dues/Donations

 

• $10 Teacher/Principal/Staff/Parent

       = $5.75 FOMS PTA donation, $3.25 MD PTA dues, $1.00 MC PTA dues

 

2. "GiveFOMS"

• 100% of GiveFOMS funds raised go directly to supporting students and staff through the FOMS PTA.
